3 Card Class Tuesday, May 13th

I have always wanted to show you how to take a stamp set and make three cards with it but all with different looks.  I have finally done it.  I chose the Tape It stamp set from Stampin' Up.  I love how each of these cards came out.  It was a lot of fun.

I can't take all the credit I cased them but as always I might have changed them some.  I love the washi tape look on the Thanks card.  Combining it with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set was genius.    

For the birthday candle card I was trying to figure out how I could make the flames for the candle.  Then it hit me if I used the Bitty Butterfly punch and trimmed off a piece of the wing it would be perfect!!  Using the squares collection framelits made making the frame easy peasy!!  

For the last card I love black and white especially with a little splash of color.  I didn't have any black buttons on hand at the time of making it so I used cardstock.  I just pulled out a couple punches.  The flower is from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack which is retiring so if you are interested you need to get it soon!  I also used the 1/4" and 1/2" circle punch.  I punched out four of each one and glued them together.  I think it worked really well.  I liked the look and convenience.  I am also in love with the Flower Shop stamp set which I used for the Daffodil Delight flowers!  It is such a fun stamp set!

April 3D Carrot

There never seems to be enough time to get all we want to get done in a day.  Well I’m no different and in addition we recently found out I have a low thyroid. This left me totally exhausted and taking frequent naps which ate up more of that precious time.  We are starting to get a better handle on it now and although I’m still not quite there I’m starting to feel more like my old self again.

I realize it has been awhile since I have last posted but I plan be more diligent in getting new ideas out there in a more timely fashion.  So with the New Year comes fresh ideas.  There are so many fun and cute ideas, I decided one way to share them is to start a monthly 3D sample kit.

As you can see below I have this cute carrot filled with yummy chocolate.   Kim MacLaurin brought the idea and together we tweaked and added to it.

What is in the Kit?

It comes with the made up sample along with a list of supplies used to make the item. It will also include any directions which might not be straight forward by looking at the sample itself.  

What if I want more?

Not a problem, I also provide pre-cut kits.  This includes what you need to re-make the sample but nothing is stamped (candy not included).  For example: White paper is included for the tag but not pre-stamped.

What is the cost?

The Sample Kit with a supply list is $3.  For pre-cut only $1.50.
