I am so excited. I think it came out cute. It was a little difficult as I didn't have patterns. I did copy some ideas from convention and for the rest I just looked at what dies I could use with my Big Shot and then came up with how to make them interactive. Hope you like it.

Shoebox Swap With Other Demonstrators
This is 3 of the 7 cards we did. I will explain what a shoebox swap is for those who might not know. You take all the supplies and cardstock all cut and ready for the card you have designed along with a sample for them to work off of in a container. You take a container at a time and make the card and then pass it on to the next person until you have made everyone's card.
This one was done by Susan Legits using the Autumn Harvest Stamp Set.

Feel Good Colors!
I am trying to add things that make me happy to my scrapbook/stamp room. A friend helped me make this arrangement. I had all the pieces and she helped me put them all together. I think it came out great! I can't wait to put it in my room. First I have to reorganize and put it back together. Since convention I have been running like crazy from one thing to the next and thus I have just been dumping things here and there into my room. It is on my list of things to do this week.
You are probably wondering what these things even are doing together. Well at convention Shelli had on an apron made from our die cuts for the Big Shot. Well right away I just knew it was something I was going to have to try and make myself. I haven't been sewing so much since okay let's face it--years! But why not do a quick simple method of sewing. So I will let you know how my experiment goes as there is no pattern and I am definetely winging it. But it has never stopped me in the past. I got the fabric on sale so if it ends of up the trash it won't be a great loss. Below is the apron Shelli wore at convention. I love it but I need a little more color.

Decorating Made Easy!
This is a picture frame I am going to hang on my wall using one of the pieces of the Baroque Medallions Decor Elements. It was very easy to do. I just found a piece of paper I thought looked good and put it in the frame and then applied the decor element to the top of the frame.

Isn't This Card Great!!!
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Flight of the Butterfly; Paper: White Typing Paper, Pacific Point; Ink: Pacific Point; Accessories: Brayer, White Crayon
Isn't this card just beautiful. I absolutely love it!!! I cannot take credit for it. I did change it a very little but you can find the directions on how to make it at Lydia's blog. I used Stazon for the saying. I am going to try craft ink and see which one I like better. The stazon is okay but I would like it to be brighter.

Last day & Brown came to visit us!!
Isn't this way too much fun. They came and brought a special delivery to all 5,700 of us who were still there for closing session. The house went nuts!!! There was confetti, UPS guys running everywhere and people screaming at the top of their lungs forever with glee. Shelli said she did warn UPS we were going to go ballistic. We all got the Ronald McDonald House featured stamp set, "Say It With Scallops" which in turn gives Ronald McDonald House $2 for every time we sell the stamp set . How exciting is that!! Brown appreciates us doing business with them and we love it when brown shows up on our door step. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a picture with them! This is the stamp set they bought for us. Isn't it great!
Last but I am sure not least, "Inspired by Nature". It was easier to show this one off by taking the picture from the catalog. This one will be awesome to use. It is the size of a background stamp and so beautiful. We used it to decorate a bag for one of our make and takes.
I am sorry I was unable to post last night. There wasn't enough time after dinner and packing it was late and we had to be up early again to get to the airport this morning. I almost forgot my cell phone and our blow dryer died. It was a little crazy but we made it home safe and sound. My back pack was so heavy. I think it had to weigh at least 20 pounds. I packed my swaps and 3D's in my suitcase to check in BUT I carried my 4 sets of stamps and some other things I bought at Momento Mall in my backpack. I can replace clothes and cards, but I can't replace the other stuff! Now that I am back home I am not sure I will be posting every day but I will trying to post at least once a week. I hope you enjoyed some of the Convention Highlights.

Yes, Connie and I are still having fun at convention. We are definitely sleep deprived! There was a bunch of cheering and screaming this morning at Shelli's big announcement of our new partner with Stampin' Up for advertising.
Yes, that's right!!! We now will have exclusive Stampin' Up die cuts and embossing folders from Sizzix. This opens up so many possibilities and they coordinate so nicely with what we already have in our punches and stamp sets. We have already seen so many things and my mind is already working. Ohhh I am so excited!!! This is great!!!!! They will be available for customers to order on September 2nd.
Shelli is going to have a signature line which will be available in the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog. She said it is not going to be only the things she loves but some of her absolute favorites! So be on the look out for that. Another piece of exciting news is Shelli is going to have her own blog which will launch at 9:00 a.m. (MST) on August 4th. It is going to be called So Shelli. How appropriate is that!

Amy & Debbie From Class In A Flash
I was able to meet Amy and Debbie with Class in a Flash at their Meet and Greet. It was really nice to put a face to a name and they are so nice! We were able to get a some cute ideas and a fun thank you gift from them. We visited for quite a while. Their class ideas are great for me and for you. This was one of the last things I have done for the day. It has been a full day filled with lots of excitement of being at convention! Check out some of the pics below to see some of the new catalog. I really like the clean and fresh layout. The new catty even has some pages throughout with pictures and directions for different techniques. This is my very first attempt at a blog so I apologize upfront for the not so professional look at this moment, but I will get better. I will try to keep you updated on each days activities and events.
