May, Color, Fun!

Okay I know May is over but this is a few cards we did.  We  had a lot of good rain, sunshine, and beautiful flowers and gorgeous color.  I couldn't help but use color.  Doesn't it just make you happy!  I also have to confess I stole the idea for the card from a friend, Erica Bass.  But don't you just love it!
This card uses a couple of my favorite stamps--Big on You and Work of Art.  The Work of Art stamp set can lend itself to so many things and is a versatile set.

Supplies: Whisper White & Daffodil Delight Cardstock, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Momento Ink, and Bermuda Bay ribbon.
This card was cased from Carol Vigil.  What I liked about this one was the way you could color the vases in but didn't have to do it perfectly and it still looks great!  It was fun to sit and color with the markers.  I don't know why but I find it very relaxing.

Supplies: Bermuda Bay and White Cardstock, Vivid Vases stamp, Momento Ink, Smokey Slate, Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant, Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow and Strawberry Slush markers, Baked brown sugar twine and Chevron Embossing Folder.

My next post should have some fun things from the new catalog.  So I'll see you then!
